Reunion Pictures

A total of 95 members and guests attended the 2010 reunion of the 87th APSA. We had a banquet dinner with guest speakers. Awards were given out to the people who wrote newsletter articles, plaques were give the the guest speaker and the current 1st sargent of the 87th APS. Many people drove long distances to attend the reunion. members drove from Gettysburg, PA and Roswell, George. Geoffrey Stamp drove 1,500 miles from Rio Rancho New Mexico to attend.
We are continuing to seek out out current and former military pals so that we can grow our association. One week after the first reunion, several members from our association were able to visit our former 1st shirt Cliff Cooper. We were excited to be able to see and talk with Cliff.
JAN 2010 Retirements
Chief Lyons - Will retire in January. He is not sure when he will have his retirement ceremony.
Mike will have 30 years of service.

Ron Thomas and Rodney Young had their formal retirement ceremony at the 87th. Bob Castle took some nice pictures and uploaded them to flicker. I got Ron, Rodney and Bob's permission to share these pictures.

Charlie,Terry, Harvey, Bob and Tom went to the 87th UTA. We briefly meet with the squadron members after their PT workout ended at 4 PM on Saturday. We passed out about 20 membership forms and copies of the 2nd newsletter. We are trying to let everyone know about the reunion on 3-6 June 2010. Help us out by talking with current and former members. We want every one to join us so we can to have a great reunion. At the reunion we will hold elections and plan the place and time for the 2nd reunion.
Ed Kienle is a retired flight mechanic from the 356th TAS. He hosts the May and November breakfasts at the ELKS lodge in Wilmingtion, OH. Normally breakfast is $8 at the door and starts at 9 AM. You should plan on getting their early so you can socialize.
